Peering forms the basis for fast and efficient exchange of internet traffic between organizations. Within the Relined Fiber Network – which also integrates the NDIX network – we offer an extensive peering platform that allows organizations at all our marketplace locations in the Netherlands and Germany to exchange traffic directly with other connected parties, automatically and without incurring costs.

What is peering?

Internet peering is the exchange of traffic between networks without incurring costs. It is used by internet service providers, telecom companies, carriers, VoIP operators, media and content providers, and public organizations. Peering significantly reduces the costs of internet traffic, improves speed and accessibility, and increases the reliability of connections.

Public and private peering

Within our network, we offer a public peering VLAN (ISP Unicast): an Ethernet-based service that supports both IPv4 and IPv6. Via our route server, you can automatically exchange traffic with all connected parties, without the need for separate peering agreements.

For organizations that want to decide for themselves who they peer with, private peering is also possible via a dedicated VLAN. This allows you to retain full control over your data flows and partners.
