Relined Fiber Network relocates to new premises to facilitate further growth of the organisation Relined Fiber Network will be relocating to a new address in Vianen as from 1 November 2020. In recent years, The Dark Fiber supplier has outgrown its existing accommodation and so is undertaking this relocation as the next step in its ambitions for growth. The move to larger offices is an expression of Relined’s ambition.
“Relined is an organisation that wishes to continue to develop. Taking this step reflects Relined’s current and future ambitions. One of the preconditions for continuing to achieve growth is additional square metres. This will allow us to serve our clients in the best possible way.” – Kristel Landa, Managing Director Relined Fiber Network.
There are two reasons for making the move now. On the one hand, this fits within Relined’s ambition for growth. On the other, this will create more space in these times of coronavirus. Relined wishes to create safe workplaces for its employees. A workplace where more people can be present at the same time, but where it is possible to easily maintain the 1.5-metre distance, as well as complying with all other guidelines. Naturally, this will only be the case once the RIVM (Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) has indicated that working from the office is again possible. Working from home is currently the norm within Relined.
Relined is and will remain at a favourable location on Clarissenhof in Vianen, easily accessible from the A2. The new premises are literally a stone’s throw from the old – right opposite, in fact.
Relined has been the leading, independent supplier of Dark Fiber in Northwestern Europe for more than 16 years. The organisation was founded in 2003 to market the unused capacity of ProRail and TenneT. Later, the network was expanded with a metro network in Amsterdam and, in 2017, with a cooperation with BT in the Netherlands. Since 2017, Relined has been working with a nationwide network in Germany, including a metro network in Frankfurt, and from 2019 the company has been delivering Dark Fiber connections through a subsea cable from the Netherlands to Denmark.
During the past 17 years, the organisation has undergone considerable growth, and now has a network covering in excess of 30,000 kilometres. But Relined has big ambitions, and wishes to continue to optimise its services. The organisation will therefore continue to be always evolving.
