Relined Fiber Network is further expanding its international connectivity capabilities. A new 100G interconnect with Arelion has gone live at the Nikhef data center in Amsterdam. This connection gives Relined access to a significantly larger international network for providing Ethernet and WDM connections.
The new interconnect is already being used commercially for an international connection between Amsterdam and Brussels. As a result, the new infrastructure is now an integral part of Relined’s international service portfolio.
Greater international reach
By connecting to Arelion’s network, Relined is strengthening its position as a connectivity partner for organizations that want to connect their digital infrastructure across multiple data centers and countries.
“This is a great, concrete example of how we continue to invest in the development of our network and our international reach,” says Talat Sahin, CCO at Relined. “With this interconnect, we’re further expanding our international reach and creating new opportunities to offer our customers even more flexible connectivity.”
Greater capacity and flexibility
The expansion addresses the growing need for reliable, high-capacity international connections. Organizations are processing ever-increasing amounts of data and connecting infrastructures across multiple data centers, regions, and countries. With the expansion and further development of its Ethernet and WDM services, Relined is actively responding to these trends.
“More and more often, our customers want not just a connection between two locations, but a solution that scales with their international network,” Sahin continues. “Maintaining control over the digital foundation is a broader market trend and, in our view, also a key prerequisite for organizations to continue performing autonomously.”
Continuing to build an international connectivity network
“The new interconnect at Nikhef is part of the ongoing development of Relined’s international partner network. In addition to investing in our own fiber-optic infrastructure, we are working closely with international network partners to further expand the reach and capabilities of our services.
By combining dark fiber with Ethernet, WDM, and cloud connectivity services, we are creating an increasingly dense network that enables organizations to connect their digital infrastructure both nationally and internationally,” Sahin concludes.
